Cargo Fares Page

You can access the Cargo Fares page by expanding the 'Fares' dropdown under the 'Administration' section in the left sidebar and clicking on 'Cargo'. This page allows administrators to manage fare rates for cargo transported between ports and cities. Here, you can view, add, update, and manage the status of cargo fare records.

1. Add New Fare

To add a new cargo fare, click the "Add New Fare" button. This will open a modal where you can enter the new fare's details, including:

  • Delivery Format: Select whether the fare is for 'Port to Port' or 'City to City' delivery.
  • Origin Port: Select the starting port for 'Port to Port' delivery. (Conditionally displayed)
  • Destination Port: Select the arrival port for 'Port to Port' delivery. (Conditionally displayed)
  • Origin City: Select the starting city for 'City to City' delivery. (Conditionally displayed)
  • Destination City: Select the arrival city for 'City to City' delivery. (Conditionally displayed)
  • Cargo Type: The type of cargo (e.g., General Cargo, Perishable Goods).
  • Unit of Measurement: The unit used for measuring the cargo (e.g., Kilograms (kg), Metric Tons (MT), Cubic Meters (m³)).
  • Rate per Unit: The fare rate per unit of measurement.

Click "Create" within the modal to save the new record.

2. Cargo Fares Table

The main section of the page displays a table listing all existing cargo fares with the following columns:

  • Delivery Format: Indicates whether the fare is for 'Port to Port' or 'City to City'.
  • Origin Port: The starting port for port-to-port fares.
  • Destination Port: The arrival port for port-to-port fares.
  • Origin City: The starting city for city-to-city fares.
  • Destination City: The arrival city for city-to-city fares.
  • Cargo Type: The type of cargo.
  • Unit of Measurement: The unit used for measuring the cargo.
  • Rate per Unit: The fare rate per unit.
  • Created By: The user who created the fare record.
  • Status: Indicates whether the fare is `Active` or `Inactive`.
    Badge: bg-green for Active, bg-red for Inactive.
  • Action: Contains icons for performing actions on the fare record:
  • (Edit icon): Click to edit the fare's details. This opens an "Edit Cargo Fare" modal.
  • (Delete icon): Click to disable the fare. This opens a "Disable Cargo Fare" confirmation modal.

The table also includes pagination controls (e.g., "10 entries per page") and a search bar to filter fare records.
